Michale Graves is a band that is oddly captivating to watch, plain and simple. Seeming to hail directly from a love child between the symphonic whimsicality of Freddy Mercury and the raw human presence of Daltrey and Townshend, their prowess on stage is very rarely seen these days. Rather than allow us to wait inside the theatre out of the sleet and rain, they booted us out of the seating areas about 7 minutes after the show was over, only to swim upstream through the people and wait in the car shivering. All this amazing talent was, of course, no excuse for charging $8.50 for beer, packing people in like sardines, and the ridiculous wait to leave the parking lot just to go home. Michale Graves and sspu once again were spectacular and performed like naturals, but unfortunately for them, the palace did not do so in turn. My final score is Spider - Palace 0 - Band 5.
